Postdoctoral researcher (all genders welcome)
in the Psychology of Language research group (PI: Nivedita Mani https://www.psych.uni-goettingen.de/en/lang) at the University of Goettingen. This is a full-time position (currently 39.80 hours/week) until December 31st 2025. The position should be filled as soon as possible.
In 22 projects, the CRC 1528 “Cognition of Interaction” investigates how fundamental cognitive functions and their neurobiological foundations contribute to human and nonhuman primate social behaviour and social interactions. The network is formed by a highly interdisciplinary consortium formed by psychologists, systems and computational neuroscientists, data scientists, and behavioural and cognitive biologists.
The advertised position is in a project examining curiosity-driven learning in dynamic social interactions. The project will examine how children selectively sample information from their environment in social interactions with their caregivers and peers using a novel dyadic interaction platform to be developed within the research network.
