We are recruiting doctoral level aspiring researchers for a HRSA-funded T32 primary care research fellowship Addressing Community Health Needs, Eliminating Disparities. The position starts July 1, 2022.

Eligible candidates for this research fellowship must have an PhD, MD, DO, or other equivalent doctoral degree and plan to become independent researchers. As well as US citizenship or green card holder per sponsor guidelines.

During the fellowship, fellows’ research can span primary care-relevant topics, with primary focus on substance use, mental health, and related disorders, and health disparities. Fellows participate in an actively mentored, individualized training program involving coursework, interactive seminars, and hands-on research experience, with an interdisciplinary, team-oriented approach toward translational science. Clinician-fellows may supplement research activity with clinical work.

Fellowship faculty are experienced mentors and successful researchers with mature portfolios from across Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health. Candidates with a background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics are strongly encouraged to apply.
